2018 is a big election year for the state of Georgia. But if you are anything like me, you are usually too busy to pay as much attention to local politics as you should. So, to make things easier, I have started a series to pick apart each candidate’s pros and cons.
With introductions out of the way, meet Republican former state Representative Geoff Duncan.
His website does not say anything about his past besides that Duncan was a professional pitcher and is a “trailblazing entrepreneur.” Because of his experience with his business and being the father of three sons in the public-school system, he “knows that bigger government is not the answer.”
If elected, Duncan promises to:
• “Ignite a powerful economy by empowering job creators instead of politicians.”
• Empower parents to end the bureaucratic hold on education.
• Stand up for the unborn.
• “Dismantle ineffective government programs and streamline the budgeting process.”
If Geoff Duncan sounds like your candidate, elections will be held on November 6, 2018.
